GRAND OPENING FOR RED LIGHT BOOKS!!! Come check it out!! We are excited to inform the public about a new bookstore opening on March 5th 2007. This educational, fun, and friendly environment will be called Red Light Books and is located in the thriving art district of downtown Salt Lake City. We offer a wide selection of books, music and rare gifts and will be hosting free public events. Specializing in art, prints, children’s books, photography, comics, international/cultural literature, and rare music, we are offering items not readily available through other local avenues. We are also working with the City of Salt Lake and the Downtown Alliance to offer workshops in writing, filmmaking, and sound design/recording. Writers, artists, film-makers and musicians will be scheduled on a regular basis to entertain and educate the public. Art exhibitions and film showings will also be included in our monthly calendar. Please contact us with any ideas or events you are interested in. We hope to bring together and cultivate the local community through education, creativity, and the sharing of ideas.
